Vivian Tyrell was the hidden main villainess from the 2020 Netflix horror film, Vampires vs. the Bronx.

Biography[]

The film began with Vivian Tyrell appearing as a customer at a nail salon owned by Becky Perez, as Vivian introduced to Becky as a new resident in The Bronx. Their conversation turned to Becky selling her salon to Murnau Properties, a real estate group who had been buying up various properties all over the neighborhood, and after Vivian leaves, Becky meets with Murnau broker Frank Polidori, who finalized the sale before Becky is suddenly attacked and killed by a vampire.

After Becky's killing and the sale of the salon, main protagonist Miguel "Lil Mayor" Martinez and his friends, Bobby and Luis, run into Vivian late one night, and is offered a poster for a block party to support Primo, a bodega run by Tony. She greeted the trio, despite Bobby's fears that she planned on calling the police, with Vivian responding that she wanted to get to know her new neighbors before voicing her support for Miguel's cause. Later on, the trio witness the latest vampire attack, leading them to realize that Murnau is a front for a coven of vampires, with Frank being suspected of being a vampire and leading the group. During their investigation, the trio ran into Vivian at Frank's office, with the distraction allowing them to grab a USB file from Frank's desk.

As the boys learned, the drive contained footage of a nest of vampires at rest in their coffins, while Miguel also took possession of a skeletal key, though they had no idea what the key opened. In addition, their attempt to publicly show evidence of the existence of vampires failed due to the fact that vampires don't appear on video, while Frank appearing in broad daylight also disproved their claims against him. As for Vivian, she visited Primo and asked Tony if he had seen Miguel, while also appearing to make purchases as well. Tony took a glance at the security camera and saw that Vivian didn't appear, leading Tony to realize that Vivian was a vampire herself.

Tony's attempt to warn Miguel and call him at church was interrupted by Vivian flashing her vampire fangs and killing Tony, but not before her hand was burned by Tony's crucifix. Afterwards, the trio (along with Rita) ran into Vivian as they armed themselves with holy water and rushed to Primo, where they realized that Tony had been killed. Vivian escorted the gang to Miguel's home, where she dropped them off and greeted Carmen Martinez (Miguel's mother); however, the group noticed that Vivian was still standing outside the threshold of the apartment, and the holy water boiling near the villainess led them to learn Vivian's true nature.

Miguel warned his mother not to let Vivian in, and it was at that this moment that Vivian revealed herself as a vampiress and the commander of the Murnau clan; adding that she was in charge of searching for a permanent setting for her and her group of vampires, and had chosen The Bronx as their destination. The villainess also revealed that she killed Tony, and demanded the key from Miguel, only for Miguel to splash holy water in Vivian's face. After escaping, Vivian rejoined her vampire henchmen and Frank, who was revealed by Luis as the clan's human familiar. Frank presented his boss with the deed to Miguel's apartment building, which would allow her access to enter even without an invitation, but regarding Frank's request to become a vampire himself, Vivian turned him down, adding that he would never get what he wanted if he kept failing her.

Miguel and the gang returned to the nest on the following day to take out the coven before dusk, killing two of them before Vivian and two others woke up. Miguel's attempt to kill the others with sunlight failed, as it had already become dusk, and afterwards, Vivian picked up Miguel's backpack and pulled out the key, which opened a box that contained (as Vivian revealed) the remains of the first vampire. The vampire villainess revealed her plan to use the ashes and her bite to turn the entire neighborhood into vampires, and at that moment, Luis tossed garlic powder at the trio of vampires and killed one of them during their escape.

Once Frank appeared and attempted to stop them, Bobby reminded Frank that he would never become a vampire, as he would always be their servant, after which Frank allowed the boys to escape before he was killed by Vivian for doing so. Afterwards, the evil Vivian captured Miguel and boasted that she had survived for seven centuries and was superior to the boys, while referring to their city as a "shithole"; which led to the entire neighborhood banding together in support and defense of The Bronx. Vivian fought off their attacks, though she was scarred by a makeshift crucifix by Father Jackson before she held Bobby captive.

The villainess cackled as she threatened to snap Bobby's neck, and later took the ashes and blew them towards Bobby as part of her plan to turn him into a vampire. Just as Vivian was about to complete her deed, she was interrupted by Miguel, who rode his bike and armed himself with a shard of Tony's Sammy Sosa bat, which he plunged into Vivian's heart--killing and disintegrating her.
