Vampires are one of the main races presented in the 2014 film What We Do in the Shadows, the others being Humans, Werewolves and Zombies.

The vampires in What We Do in the Shadows display the typical abilities including:
- Immortality: Vampires can live for thousands of years, as seen by Petyr who was 8,000 years old.
- Levitation: Vampires can levitate as seen with Viago and Deacon
- Shapeshifting: Vampires can be seen turning into bats,
- Hypnosis: Vladislav is able to place humans in a trance.
Weaknesses[]
The vampires in the film display typical vampire weaknesses including sunlight and not being able to enter certain buildings without permission. Vladislav wasn't able to hypnotise humans behind a glass window
