Every vampire movie in the new decade shows human being slaughtered and killed. In the movie Eclipse Jasper said that no human army can defeat them. Just plain explanations, I say that since Dracula's death with a knife on his throat, vampires has become more invincible than immortal. Authors like Stephenie Meyer has forgotten that God created us in his own image, and vampires have to respect that whenever they came face-to-face with humans, they're looking at the face of God.
