Variations: Neuntoer
A Germanic vampiric revenant whose name “nine killer” gets its name from the nine days it takes for the vampire to fully transform once it has been placed in its grave. The vampire is covered with open sores, smells like excrement, and is a plague carrier.
"People who were born with teeth or an actual spoon in their mouths are heavily predisposed to becoming Neuntöters upon their deaths."
To prevent this vampire form rising a lemon must be placed in the mouth before the body is interred and head must be removed from the body between the hours of 11 P.M. and midnight.
GURPS Blood Types has "Neuntoter (Germany) “Nine Killer” " but no other information.
