This monstrous vampiric creature (meaning “terrible one”) when are referred to as mormolykeia (“terrible wolves”) While not as ugly as the Empouse it is still covered its own blood and blisters. It will shapeshift into a beautiful woman and lure men to their doom consuming their blood and flesh. It also can shape shift into 1000 different terrifying forms as well.
"Montague Summers, in his book Vampire: His Kith and Kin, mentions only by name some vampires whose names are similar to the mormo: mormolikeion, mormoliki, mormolix, and moromolukiai." It is uncertain how these relate to the Mormo.
GURPS Blood Types briefly describes this as beiing effectively a modification of a Lamia. It also states "The goddess Hecate had in her retinue a host of vampiric female demons alternately known as Lamia, empusae and Mormo"
