Gûlavhar is a hideous beast from the First Age which should have perished long ago with the rest of his brood. This winged demon with a thirst for blood had slept for centuries before the Witch-king of Angmar recruited him following the fall of Sauron.
In-game deployment[]
Gûlavhar is ideal for striking against mounted troops, but archers and infantry will quickly bring him down and as such he should be used for short, sharp attacks. He is statistically the fourth-best Fighter in the Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game.
