Dracula is a vampire that was Grim's childhood hero who has normal ears and is the biological father of Dick and therefore is Irwin's grandpa. Dracula talks in the third-person. He is a selfish old man that calls Grim "Skeleton-Man" or "Big Dummy". He gets angry at people for wanting to do things for him. He always wants people to see him dance. When he danced for Tanya she instantly fell in love with him, but he ran away from her when she beat him up, thinking he was a bat.

Dracula's appearance and mannerisms are patterned after the blaxploitation movies and media of the early 70's, most notably Blacula .

Personality[]

Dracula is a sharp, kind of senile, forgetful old man that calls Grim "Skeleton-Man" or "Big Dummy". He does not like when people tell him what to do. He can be somewhat aggressive to most of the people he meets, even children and never thanks anyone for anything, no matter what they do. The only person who is able to put him in his place is his wife Tanya whose strong nature intimidated him into listening to her.

He also enjoys dancing doing so at every chance he gets, he always wants people to see him dance.

When it was revealed he is the father of Dick and the grandfather of Irwin, Dracula was horrified that his family were "a buncha nerds" even begging Lionel to destroy him. Despite that, he seems to have settled in with his family blended of mummy and vampire blood as he was seen eating dinner with them at their home. In "Underfist: Halloween Bash", he is seen giving helpful advice to his grandson and the latter's friends.

Unlike other vampires, Dracula doesn’t suck blood and prefers the “scrape and lick” method. In this method, he scrapes the skin with his fangs and licks the blood out.

Trivia[]

  • Much like Fred Fredburger, Dracula instantly became one of the most popular and well-known characters in the show. He was even the host of a few Cartoon Network marathons during the Yes! era as a puppet.
  • In Punch Time Explosion XL, he synergies with Johnny Bravo.
  • In the episode entitled "My Fair Mandy", there is a still of the then-Senior Director of Comedy Animation for Cartoon Network, Ray Bastian, digging into a cereal box with a picture of Dracula on it & the label Count Blackula. A scandalous joke in its own rite, it is a reference to "Count Chocula", one of the "monster cereals" by General Mills.
