History[]
Dracula, a legendary vampire originating from Transylvania in Romania, was mysteriously placed in a state of suspended animation and stored in the "Chamber of Horrors" at Fred's Wax Museum. Also immobilized within the chamber were two other famous monsters—the Frankenstein Monster and the Werewolf. The trio was inadvertently revived one evening when Walter, a night watchman, activated his crime computer, emitting oscillating waves that awakened them. Revived and determined to atone for his past, Dracula, affectionately nicknamed "Drac" by his new companions, chose a new path as a hero. He joined the Monster Squad, a group dedicated to fighting for good.
During one of his evening outings, Dracula encountered an unusual species of South American bee, which stung him. Intrigued, he returned with the bee to the museum, where Walter analyzed it using the crime computer. To Walter's surprise, the bee was still alive after the sting, an anomaly among its kind. By translating its buzzing, he uncovered that this bee was part of a swarm controlled by a mysterious woman known as the Queen Bee.
In bat form, Dracula tracked the Queen Bee back to her lair, attempting to win her trust. However, when she discovered his true intentions, she ordered her henchmen, Bumblebee and Spelling Bee, to imprison him in a cage with a bear. Upon learning of his plight, Dracula’s comrades, Frank and Bruce, quickly came to his aid. Frank freed Dracula and grappled with the bear, while the Werewolf assisted in subduing the Queen Bee by trapping her in a massive vat of honey.
